The Department for Christian Education of madras Diocese has three kinds of ministries.
They are ministry for the children, ministry for the adults and the special categories.
1. Ministry for the Children
- Preparation of the Syllabus for the Sunday School for the academic year.
- Conducting Training Programs for Sunday School Teachers.
- Conducting Annual Scripture Examination in February every year.
- Celebrating Children Festivel every year on the 2nd Sunday November.
2. Vacation Bible School (VBS)
- Lessons and Songs are prepared on a particular theme.
- Special Training for teachers and Directors.
3. Daily Bible Reading Cards
- To help the congregations to cover the whole Bible through systematic reading from
- January to December every year.
4. Book of Sermons
- To help the Lay Preachers and Sabai Workers in Better preaching skill,
- based on a cycle of Lectionary prepared by C.S.I Synod Liturgy Committee.
