1. Aims & Objectives

• To create awareness among the people especially the Christians about the dalit realities and make them respond to the concrete situations.
• To make people understand about the Dalit theology and its Biblical foundations.
• To promote Dalit libertational education at the Church and Institutions.
• To organise people for the struggles against Human Rights Violences and atrocities against Dalits.

• Conducting Bible studies on Dalit perceptions at the area cluster levels in order to establish Biblical foundations for the Dalit liberation activities.
• Conducting workshops on liturgies and sermons in Dalit perspectives.
• Creating awareness among the people about Dalit realities and specific dalit issues occurring now and then such as atrocities and violencess through the pastors and land bills.
• Integrating the related programmes with other Boards and departments of the Diocese.
• Forming of an expertise group which will frequently meet in order to discuss about the various issues that would arise now and then and provide remedial measures.
• Building up fraternal relationship with movements and organaisation which genuinely fight for the right of the Dalit people.
• Preparing agenda from the people meeting people, identifying issues and problems from the people's perspective and preparing agenda for the same.
• Formation of Dalit cultural group to give life to the endangered dalit cultures.
• Formations of dalit action group which would respond to the specific crisis.
• Creating documentation centre in which articles, publications and journals etc., will be collected and documented for references, information and action.
